Custom Designed Temporary Tattoos

With the resurgence in body art over the past few years, with more people than ever having real tattoos and piercing's, temporary tattoos are no longer just a product for children and teenagers but are received well across all generations. This has pushed tattoos forward as one of the most unique advertising / promotional products currently available – as well as one of the most cost effective!

About Temporary Tattoos

The Temporary Tattoos are manufactured using a four-colour process, therefore there are NO set-up or origination costs involved.
The tattoos are applied by removing the clear protective front, placing the tattoo face down onto the skin and wetting from the back with water, going on in around 30 seconds and lasting for days.

The smallest tattoo size is 38mm x 38mm, with the largest being 635mm x 1016mm.
The minimum quantity for a custom printed tattoo is 1,000 pieces, all 1,000 pieces must be of the same design. Quantities of 10,000 or more can be made up of different designs in multiples of 5,000 per design, but the sheet sizes must be the same.

The tattoo costs are calculated by size alone, therefore you can fit as many images onto the sheet as you like, using as many colours as you like.
Photos can also be used as tattoos, as they are printed using a 4-colour process, the image would be the same as if printed on paper.

A CE mark can be added to your tattoo backing as all safety tests have been carried out, copies of test certificates are available on request.
Temporary Tattoos are not recommended for use on children under 3 years of age.

The temporary tattoos take generally 2-3 weeks for standard tattoos, and 4-5 weeks for the speciality tattoos. The production cut-off each week is Tuesday at 12 noon, with delivery 2 weeks after.

Please Note: When the tattoo is supplied (and proofed) the image appears in reverse, this is normal so that when the tattoo is applied to the skin it is the correct way round.

The backing is printed one colour (black) and can be made to your own specific design, allowing for added FREE advertising space, although it must contain the instructions, ingredients, batch number and contact details, generally a web address.

When you are designing your temporary tattoo, please remember that we need to allow a small area completely around the edge of the image where there will be no print. Therefore, on a 50mm x 50mm tattoo, the maximum size of the image will be 43mm x 43mm.

We will always increase any image upto it's maximum on the selected size range, should you need you image to be a certain size, this must be stated when ordering.

1. Disk / Email Disks must be accompanied by a printout. Please send your artwork using CMYK defined colours at 300dpi, or better. Saved as EPS or TIFF.
2. Scannable Art Provide artwork at 100% or greater of actual size
When there is more than one (1) image, we prefer that all images have the same size reduction and be in position on one (1) artboard

3. Quantities Quantities of 20,000 or more can be made up of different designs in multiples of 5,000 per design.

Please indicate in artwork description below what your designs are. All tattoos are printed using four colour process with NO set up charges. White is an optional 5th colour, now FREE! Please indicate where the white should be. All tattoo sizes can be rotated 90 degrees. Shipping charges will be added to your price. We may ship up to 5% overs / unders.

Proofs are only provided upon request.

Approved design artwork and purchase orders need to be in no later than 5pm Tuesday. If requesting a proof, please submit artwork by noon Monday.

All design artwork will be maximised by us, within the printable area unless specified on your purchase order. We will not be responsible for colour changes if the design art is sent in RGB format instead of CMYK. When art is converted, colours may vary.

Glow in the Dark Tattoos

Special effects temporary tattoos, such as the Glitter & Glow in the Dark Tattoos are produced as a dedicated print run, therefore the minimum order quantity is 5,000 pieces per design and lead times are generally 3-4 weeks.

Speciality tattoos are also generally more expensive than the conventional standard temporary tattoos.

Glow in the dark tattoos are printed using a 4-Colour process plus one Glow-In-The-Dark ink effect.

The Tattoo will glow in a dark room or glow under a black light (disco light).

The Glow-In-The-Dark ink can be placed around the perimeter (keyline) and in any white or clear areas of the graphic image

Glitter Temporary Tattoos
Add that touch of sparkle to your event or promotion with glitter temporary tattoos.

Glitter tattoos are printed in the same standard way as normal temporary tattoos, the glitter is then added to the adhesive glue giving your tattoos that sparkling effect.

The standard option for the delivery of the temporary tattoos is that they are packed in bundles of 200 tattoos, with a separator card splitting this bundle into 100’s, then bulk packed.

Application, Removal & Ingredients
How To Apply

Application of the temporary tattoos is a very simple process and generally takes approx 30 seconds to apply each one, making this a quick, but lasting visual impact for your promotion.

Skin should be clean & free from oils & makeup

If there is more than one image per sheet, cut out desired image,

Remove clear, protective top sheet

Press Tattoo firmly onto clean, dry skin and design facing down

Hold wet cloth against back of tattoo, press down and make sure to wet it thoroughly

Wait 30 seconds (don't hurry). Peel off paper backing

WARNING: Don't apply to sensitive skin or near eyes.

How To Remove

Saturate tattoo with alcohol cleanser or baby oil; wait ten seconds, then rub away tattoo with cotton ball, or lift tattoo from dry skin using several pieces of transparent household tape.
